"First, the work is not done, but these guys are the most impressive contracting company I have ever worked with and feel like ever will work with. Anytime hail came through the neighborhood, the vultures come out, Your roof this, your siding this, and at first I didn't see Bastin as anything different, but when I started working with Kirk, and James I quickly changed my tune. The first day Kirk came to see the roof, he noticed some cracks in the shingles where the hail had broken through and he did a quick seal on it to prevent it from leaking. Kirk owns the company, and has teams that actually do the work, the team that worked on my house was led by James and his team. I was under an unbelievable set of circumstances, because I had buyers in the house the day the house was damaged and they wanted the house but wanted all the repairs done prior to closing. The hail damaged happened on 3/14, State Farm came out on 23rd and James started work on 4/1. I have 37 solar panels on my house, Their team got the panels off the house on Monday, Tuesday and this was absolutely insane, the dumpster showed up at 7 and before Noon there was brand new roof on the house. My house is a 2500 SQ FT Ranch. There were no less than 9 people working on the roof. I have never seen anything like it, let alone heard of anything like it. Wed, the gutter guy started, Solar started to go back on the house Thursday and gutters and Solar were done on Friday. Siding was damaged too and the disappointing aspect of this review, the siding had to be special ordered which put it 5 weeks out. I firmly believe if the siding had been readily available, it would have been done the same week. In business, time is money, and trust me when I tell you Kirk understands that based on what I witnessed. Because of the timeline I was under an unbelievable amount of stress to get the work done to sell the house and get the repairs done, I was absolutely ruthless to Kirk and James, and they took it like champs, I'm certain James wanted kick my butt more than once, but he never wavered in his professionalism and neither did Kirk. If you ever need any company to do repairs on your home, roof, siding, anything, you would be doing yourself a massive disservice, by not using Bastin Roofing. Having owned my own business and worked with hundreds more, there are a lot of companies who could learn from their example of work ethics, professionalism, quality, and even price. I want to add, when selecting a company for repairs like this, personality compatibility is everything and you need to make sure you are compatible with whomever you are working with. I firmly believe most people should be able to work with Kirk and James, I can be an extremely difficult customer because my standards are set extremely high, so for me to write this review and offer praise for Kirk and James and their company, it is well deserved."
