Quality Roof Materials Built for Missouri Weather

Two roofs can carry the same price and the same warranty paperwork and still be nothing alike. What separates them is what went on the deck — and whether the crew installed it the way the manufacturer specified.

What You're Paying For

A Roof Is a System, Not Just Shingles

The part you can see from the driveway is one layer of several. The ones underneath are where cheap roofs get cheap.

Shingles

The visible layer, rated for wind and impact. Architectural profiles hold up better than three-tab in storm country.

Underlayment

The layer between shingle and deck. It's what's actually keeping water out when a shingle lifts.

Ice & Water Shield

Self-adhering membrane at the eaves and valleys, where Missouri freeze-thaw does its damage.

Flashing

Chimneys, valleys, vents, and skylights. More roofs leak here than anywhere else on the field.

Ventilation

Ridge and soffit venting. Without airflow, heat and moisture cook the deck from underneath.

The Deck Itself

None of the above matters if it's fastened to soft sheathing. We check it on every tear-off.

The Part Nobody Advertises

Good Materials, Installed Badly, Still Leak

Manufacturer warranties assume the product went on the way the manufacturer said. Wrong nail placement, missed starter course, or flashing done with sealant instead of metal — and the roof fails early regardless of what the box said.

That's why we put as much into crew training as into material selection. OSHA-certified teams, ongoing training, and the same standards on a small repair as a full tear-off.
